Sony Pictures International Productions and Mucho Mas Media have announced their collaboration on a new romantic comedy film titled The Pet Nup. Directed by Elaine del Valle, the movie will revolve around the lives of a recently divorced couple as they navigate their new realities and relationships. The unique twist in the story comes from the couple’s “Pet-Nup,” which leads them to extreme measures as they battle for custody of their beloved dog.
Cast Lineup
The star-studded cast of The Pet Nup includes Emeraude Toubia, Gregg Sulkin, Halston Sage, and Emmy winner Jaime Pressly. Toubia, known for her roles in With Love and Shadowhunters, will take on the lead role in the film. Sulkin, recognized for his work in Marvel’s Runaways, has an exciting lineup of projects ahead, including Tyler Perry’s Six Triple Eight. Javier Chapa will produce The Pet Nup for Mucho Mas Media, with Phillip Braun serving as the executive producer. Sherrese Clarke Soares from Harbourview Equity is also on board as an executive producer. Director Elaine del Valle, who most recently helmed the Tubi original Midnight Hustle, brings her creative vision to the project. With a background in family dramas like Brownsville Bred, del Valle is set to infuse The Pet Nup with heartfelt storytelling.
