U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon recently granted former President Donald Trump’s request for further briefing regarding presidential immunity in the Mar-a-Lago classified documents case. In her order, Cannon allowed special counsel Jack Smith the opportunity to submit information on the use of classified documents during the trial, giving him until July 18 to do so.
