The highly anticipated meeting between the Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, and his father, the King, will not be taking place during Harry’s visit to the UK. This missed opportunity for reconciliation comes as a result of a scheduling conflict between a royal garden party hosted by the King and an event marking the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, in which Prince Harry is participating.
Since the announcement of Prince Harry’s visit from California, there has been much speculation in the press about whether he would take this opportunity to meet with his father and mend the strained relationship between him and the rest of the Royal Family.
