Final Fantasy XVI Coming to PC with New Content

After over a year of being exclusive to the PS5, Final Fantasy XVI is finally making its way to PC. Square Enix has announced that the latest installment in the Final Fantasy series will be launching on September 17 on both Steam and the Epic Games Store. This is great news for PC gamers who have been eagerly anticipating the arrival of the game on their platform of choice.

In addition to the base game, Final Fantasy XVI on PC will offer players the option to purchase a Complete Edition. This version of the game includes two DLC chapters – “Echoes of the Fallen” and “The Rising Tide.” Players can either buy these expansions separately at launch or opt for the Expansion Pass, which includes both chapters. This provides players with even more content to explore and enjoy in the world of Final Fantasy XVI.

For those who can’t wait until the official release date, a free demo of Final Fantasy XVI is now available on both Steam and the Epic Games Store. The demo features the opening prologue section of the game, allowing players to get a taste of what’s to come. What’s even better is that save data from the demo will carry over to the full game at launch, giving players a head start on their adventure.

Final Fantasy XVI introduces players to the fantasy world of Valisthea, where multiple kingdoms are locked in conflict over powerful Mothercrystals. Players will follow the journey of the protagonist, Clive, as he navigates the complex political landscape of the world. With new story content, boss battles, side quests, and more, there is plenty to keep players engaged in the world of Final Fantasy XVI.

The Standard Edition of Final Fantasy XVI is priced at Rs. 3,499, while the Complete Edition comes in at Rs. 4,799. Pre-ordering the game will not only secure your copy but also grant you in-game items as a reward. With the option to purchase the game with additional content, along with the availability of a free demo, there is something for both new players and longtime fans of the series to look forward to on PC.
