According to the Economic Survey 2023-2024, approximately $14 billion worth of iPhones—equal to 14% of Apple’s global production—was assembled in India, underscoring the country’s growing importance as a manufacturing hub. The Indian government’s supportive stance towards foreign investments, particularly in technology and manufacturing, has played a pivotal role in attracting major players like Apple to establish their operations within its borders.
