General Motors has recently announced updates to its flagship SUV, the Cadillac Escalade V-Series, for the 2025 model year. One of the standout features of the new SUV is a standard 55-inch diagonal display across the dashboard, including a passenger-only screen. In addition, the 2025 Escalade will come with an “executive package” for the second row, power doors, large 24-inch wheels, and other enhancements. These updates aim to continue the tradition of bold American craftsmanship, technology, and performance that the Escalade has stood for since its introduction 25 years ago.
The Cadillac Escalade is a crucial vehicle for both the Cadillac brand and its parent company, General Motors. As the highly profitable flagship of the company’s large SUV lineup, the Escalade embodies luxury, performance, and exclusivity. The gas-powered 2025 Cadillac Escalade will continue to be powered by two 6.2-liter V-8 engines, including a supercharged V-Series performance model capable of an impressive 682 horsepower and 653 foot-pounds of torque. This performance model, introduced two years ago, has garnered significant demand, prompting Cadillac to increase production for the 2025 model year. The focus on performance, luxury, and craftsmanship while maintaining exclusivity is a key strategy for Cadillac to meet customer demands and expectations for the pinnacle of Escalade offerings.
Pricing and Availability
While pricing for the 2025 Cadillac Escalade models has not yet been released, the current pricing ranges from approximately $81,000 for an entry-level model to over $152,000 for the V-Series. The highly anticipated all-electric Escalade IQ is expected to start around $130,000 when it becomes available later this year. With enhancements to the gas-powered 2025 Escalade announced online, production and sales are set to begin late this year at General Motors’ Arlington Assembly in Texas, where the Escalade will continue to be produced alongside full-size SUVs from Chevrolet and GMC that share a vehicle platform and other components with the Cadillac model.
