According to Jason Ballard, the CEO of ICON, the ultimate vision of Vitruvius is to guide users from their initial desires to the delivery of construction documents, budgets, schedules, and even robotic instructions. Ballard emphasizes that Vitruvius surpasses human capabilities in terms of design and functionality.
Users begin the design process by inputting a basic idea of the type of house they wish to build. Vitruvius then prompts them with a series of questions regarding the location, size, architectural style, amenities, and other preferences for the home. By learning from the user’s responses and drawing on past designs, the AI generates three potential home designs.
